The Navajo people live on the largest Native American reservation in the U.S., spanning large portions of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah, and they are currently battling one of the worst coronavirus outbreaks in the country.

Here on The Rez, God is so present and the people here have created a pocket of Heaven...

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of new faces, long and beautiful car rides, loaded grocery trips, Home Depot runs, and fellowship with our incredible Navajo community partners. J.R. and his wife, Mary Lou, pastor House of Joy Church that sits atop Black Mesa, AZ, just walking distance from a breathtaking canyon.

Even though it took three years to get him to come to church, just the fact that he came is a miracle itself.

They give it all to the Lord on the best and worst days, when it is easy and hard. They do their best to live like Christ in ALL aspects of their lives, and I am thankful to have amazing examples to look up here in Arizona.

We love that we can help to make this church more accessible and more equipped to do exactly what they desire. House of Joy has VISION, and we love partnering with them!
