Trip Cancellation Insurance Info

Plan your mission trip with financial peace of mind! One option is to purchase trip cancellation insurance through Insurance Services of America (missionaryhealth.net). For EM's short-term mission trips, they recommend the Round Trip Elite plan*, which is roughly 14% of the cost of your trip, and would reimburse you for approximately 75% of what you have paid towards your trip in the event it is canceled. 

*Be sure to select the option “Cancel for Any Reason” to cover all possible scenarios related to Covid-19.

A few things to note should you choose to insure your team's finances through Insurance Services of America:

• Experience Mission does not provide refunds. In the event of trip cancellation, a partial credit will be issued for teams not purchasing trip cancellation insurance. Please review our Mission Trip Registration Policy for details.
• Experience Mission is NOT the provider of this policy. Your team is responsible to read through all details carefully and sign up through Insurance Services of America directly.
• There is a time limit to when you can sign up for this policy. You must sign up within 20 DAYS of registering for your trip.
• Should your trip be canceled and you are issued a refund through Insurance Services of America, EM is not able to provide you with a partial credit toward a future mission trip, as you are not allowed to receive a refund from the insurance policy if EM offers you a "trip credit".
