I went on my first mission trip right out of high school—the 9-month GAP year program with Experience mission—and have been on two trips every year since! While I was in South Africa (the first time), I fell in love with the people, the culture, and seeing God work in different communities around the world. The more trips I go on, and the more of my life I placed in God's hands, the more it has confirmed that I want to continue on this path for my life! As a next step into missions, I have decided to attend East Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa for their residency program in 2027. East Mountain is a 9 month discipleship and ministry leadership program that will not only teach me more about ministry but hone my outreach and discipleship-making skills. And after a couple months of prayer, I decided to spend the spring and summer as an Experience Mission intern! I am putting my finances in God's hands for this year, and trusting that He will provide for me since He has called me to follow Him down this path.
