HI! I'm Kaitlyn and I am currently a senior in college graduating in May with a degree in English. If you had asked me a year ago what my post-grad plans were, I would have told you that I'll probably be in a big city somewhere, working an internship in editing and publishing, exactly as I had planned since high school. Last summer, however, my life and relationship with God were completely transformed. During the fall, I felt in my heart that the random Experience Missions post that I scrolled past on social media had caught my attention for a reason. I decided to take a full leap of faith and apply on a random night, with no real idea of why I felt so drawn to it. As my faith and confidence have grown since that moment, I know that it was just another incredible way in which God was leading me to use my passion and skills to serve the kingdom! The Lord uses whatever our circumstances are, whatever He calls us to do for purposes far beyond our understanding, and this time of my life has been an incredible opportunity to fully embrace that and put my trust in Him. Post-grad life is very daunting, especially when God calls you to do something you had not expected or planned for, but I am so excited to see how He works in my life this summer!
