Hey guys,

As you all should have already known I accepted to be apart of a mission trip that’s headed to South Africa next fall.

Initially, I wanted to do this just to be obedient, because Christ commands us all to go. But, the more I prayed “God prepare my mind to go”. He just opened me up to things in a whole new way.

Allow me to explain, at first I was going to try to fund this whole trip all by myself. Please forgive me, because that was my pride trying to rob you as my donors out of a blessing. Moreover, then He made me realize, that going and doing mission work required much faithfulness in Him. To trust that He would provide the provisions to go, and more importantly to be more steadfast in His word to help my understanding of Him. For how can I know what to share scripturally if I’m not found steadfast in it?

Understanding this concept has encouraged me to write this to reach out for help, as well as, to read more of His word over the next several months before I leave so that I am properly be equipped to share His word accurately. So I extend this mission trip to share with friends and family members who God had already predestined by the power of the Holy Spirit to give.
