My Story
For the past couple of years, God has been placing a strong feeling on my heart that I couldn't quite figure out. I knew He wanted me to step out in faith in some way, but I was having trouble determining what he wanted me to do. I have been praying over the past couple of years for his guidance, and when I discovered Experience Mission and their IMMERISION program recently, I knew that I had found what God had been leading me towards.
The IMMERSION program includes a one month long mission trip to Cuba this summer for young adults ages 25-35 to serve the Lord in a cross-cultural setting. I'm happy to say I was accepted to this program! While in Cuba, my team and I will have the opportunity to build relationships with the local people while working and serving alongside of them. I'm looking forward to learning from the people I meet in Cuba, and I pray that our team is able to bless them, too.
