Hi, my name is Nuluu Johnson, I'm so excited to have the opportunity to go to Namibia and share God's love through service, compassion and community.  I am a freshman at Georgia Highlands College, work part time at Chick Fil A, and attend Crosspoint City Church.

I have grown up in church since being adopted at the age of 5.  My whole life, I've watched my parents serve on mission trips and pour into people with compassion and humility. Seeing the way they love others and follow God's calling has shaped me into who I am, and it's inspired me to step out in my own faith. Their example is a big part of why I feel called to go to Namibia.

In June of 2024, after returning home from a mission trip, I felt the Lord tugging on my heart and calling me into something deeper. After months of praying I came across the Experience Missions' Immersion website, and knowing nothing about this trip, or Namibia, after praying, my answer was and still is YES.

On past trips, I've had the luxury of knowing every detail: my teammates, my leaders, the country, and more. This trip is completely different. I look forward to setting everything aside and stepping into the unknown, completely trusting God with every step I take and in all that I do. I want to immerse myself in a new culture and love and serve in a new country. I look forward to not only sharing God's word, but also sharing His heart through loving others and developing authentic relationships.
