Hello beautiful people!!!!! I hope you have had a wonderful year so far and I decided to send this to you because of the impact that you have had on my life. I feel so crazy thankful to be loved by you and am so blessed with the best friends that feel more like family ever!!!

I wanted to start this letter with a little life update. As most of you know, it was definitely a little bit of a struggle deciding what to do transitioning into college and I am so thankful that we can now look back on that and laugh:). I am so incredibly thankful the Lord led me to Auburn and truly saw that he was working it all for the good the whole time. I have met some of the sweetest community here and have gotten to keep playing soccer through Auburn's club team and absolutely love that opportunity. I feel so thankful that the Lord was working throughout that entire season and that I get to write this letter to y'all saying that he is so faithful-it is so sweet.

Another thing I was considering for this season, not just soccer, was also taking a gap year. I have always felt this calling in my heart to go and serve, so it was definitely an idea for a little while before I decided on Auburn to use this year in that way. I did my research, but I didn't feel peace about it then and am so thankful that I went straight into school. However, the program that I looked into for a while definitely hasn't left my radar and I am so thankful to tell y'all that the Lord and the leaders at Experience Mission have allowed me the opportunity to travel to Namibia, a small country in the southern region of Africa, to serve there for a whole month this summer!!! The dates are May 22nd through June 22nd that I would be serving families, especially children, in church and in school there. The ministry does everything from homework help, sports, feeding, and other practical jobs such as farming. This process has been more than fun and I am so excited that this is where the Lord has led me this year, to get to go serve his kingdom this summer. You are such a huge part of who I am and what has led me here. Thank y'all so much for being my role models and pouring into me constantly; It truly means the entire world. Y'all are my humans:).

With that being said, I am beginning to prepare right now for this trip. First, I would most of all be so honored if you just had me in your thoughts and prayers on this journey. That is by far the most important:). Also, if there is any way you feel led to help me get there financially, that would be so, so appreciated.
