Going on this mission trip was never on my agenda. I was never planning on going on a mission trip at all, let alone one to Jerusalem. I remember how it all happened though. I was at church when God put my 2016 Dominican Republic mission trip on my heart, completely out of the blue and with no warning. It wasn't until that night, when I was listening to a fantastic podcast about being a leader and a christian, when the women talking on it said that when God is calling you to go on a mission trip, he will usually randomly put your past ones on your heart. It really doesn't get any clearer then that. After extensive research, I found Immersion. The next part, however, was figuring out when and where to go. God wasn't calling me to go during the school year, which also told me that he was calling me to go during the summer, since dropping school for a couple months wasn't something he wanted me to do. I was going through each and every possible location, when God told me "that one, I want you to go to that one". I didn't even know the location when he told me that, and when I saw that it was Jerusalem, my heart skipped a beat. And here I am now, planning on going and praying hard about every little step. If you could help me in any way you can, weather it be money or prayer, that would greatly appreciated and accepted.
