My name is Grace Beatrice Christina Sanchez. I am 18 years old. I love to draw, paint, read, and play outdoors. I have 5 brothers and 3 sisters. I have been a devoted follower of Christ since I was 13 years old. I believe that God works in people everyday. God sends the weak to lead and grow the strong. Before I founded my relationship with Christ, I had no aspirations and no direction.

Through Christ, I was given the opportunity to interact with the world in unimaginably beautiful ways.

This trip means a lot to me. I felt a call to go on a mission at the beginning of my senior year of high school. The time I spend with Immersion is intended to expand my world view, and to give me the opportunity to find myself before I go to a 4-year University. Moreover, I believe it shall help me to grow as a human being with a greater understanding of what it truly means to live for Christ and to serve selflessly.

I am excited to begin walking in the purpose God has for me. I have been shown, in example after example, the importance of self sacrifice. Furthermore, my church, family, and my friends have spent time challenging my world view and have worked alongside me until I found this opportunity to travel abroad and serve people.
