I was initially interested in immersion because of my background in ministry, coupled with heart for Latin American culture. My parents both work in the church, and my mother is an immigrant from Mexico. This has given me some experience with the Spanish language, and practice in communicating through a language barrier where my skills fall short. I have such a passion towards Spanish speaking communities, and feel a strong call to grow my ministry within this context! I work in a church currently, leading worship for a large and diverse congregation. My experience in ministry has also shown me how coming alongside people and loving them well is an intimate way of experiencing Christ's love, and changing the hearts of every person involved. I am eager to step forward into an opportunity that I believe will tremendously impact my heart, my life, and my ministry. God is good!
