.Hello!

As many of you know, two summers ago I had the amazing opportunity to go on a one month mission trip to Namibia, Africa. In this month, God truly moved marvelously in me and the locals there. My own perspective and faith was challenged in so many ways, which only brought me closer to God and to His will for my life. I witnessed true joy and contentment in people who have so little yet they put their hope in Christ. I watched as pastors and missionaries worked so tirelessly and passionately to share the gospel in the darkest situations. I learned so much about the power of God and how He can use someone as insignificant as me to bring glory to His kingdom. I was able to serve, to love, and to share the good news of Jesus to those who felt lost and broken. I built so many precious relationships with people at the market, farms, or schools where I can look back and see how God moved. I went to bless others, but I was equally as blessed. One of the biggest things I learned during this month is that God can use anyone for His purpose. We don't have to be preachers, missionaries, or even adults for God to use us. He simply wants people who are willing to show up and obey Him, and He will work through us.

Having said all that, I am very excited and blessed to be able to tell you all that God has called me back to Namibia this coming summer in 2021 for another month!! I spent many months in prayer asking the Lord to make His will clear to me. Because as much as I wanted to go back to this beautiful country, I knew it could not be what I wanted but rather what God was calling me to. And in this past month, the Lord has made it abundantly clear that this is where He wants me to be this summer, and I could not be more grateful and excited for this opportunity!!

I also want to be clear that your emotional and prayerful support means so much to me as well.
