My Story
Hello Everyone!
For my entire life, all I can ever remember wanting to do was to help people. I didn't know how, but I knew it was my calling. I also love to travel, as many of you know, and wanted to incorporate that into my love of helping others. Over the years, I have become so passionate about traveling and have been blessed enough to see some amazing places. I don't think my passion for traveling was instilled in me by accident, I think God blessed me with this passion. Since beginning my church mission trips way back in 2009, I have been searching for a mission trip to go on after college graduation. I researched several worldwide missions and eventually found Experience Mission.
I began mission at a young age. I have gone on over eight mission trips with my home church as well as participated in 30-hour famines for World Vision. I have volunteered with countless organizations both at home and at college in Virginia. These include nursing homes, nurseries, schools, Relay For Life, churches, after-school programs, and more. I also worked as a counselor for three summers at the same camp where I attended my church mission trips. I seem to never grow tired of volunteering and giving back. I cannot begin to describe the joy of giving back and how real the love of God is when investing in people.
In January 2021, I will begin my 7-month journey to help others. This is honestly a dream come true. I am beyond excited to follow God's call to Cuba, Belize, Jamaica, and the Holy Land. I believe everyone we meet in life has a story to tell and I want to hear what it is. I want everyone to feel valued, important, and loved more than anything. I have an undying and unfading passion to make the world a better place, and that is exactly what I plan on doing, starting with Experience Mission.
I hope that during my time living in these communities I build amazing relationships and learn from every person I connect with. I pray that God prepares my heart for all He has in store for me and that He uses me to show love and support to everyone I meet. I feel blessed to be going on this trip. The power of God is incredible, and I love being able to see it at work.
As much as I look forward to this adventure, I cannot do any of it without both the prayers and the support of those around me. I am asking for prayers for my mission as well as for you to prayerfully consider monetarily supporting my trip. I truly value your support in any way you can give it.
