My name is Kendal Bayse, and I'm from Watertown,Tennessee. As most of you all know, I'm graduating from high school at the end of May, which means I'm getting ready to enter the adult world and figure out what I'm supposed to do with my life. God, however, is the director of my life, and throughout high school I've been asking Him to reveal to me what His plan for my life is. And He answered!

There is no doubt that these past two years have had a big impact on people's lives. From the pandemic to civil unrest and everything in between, it doesn't seem like a bad idea to try and put a little bit of it back together. That is why I have made the decision to take part in a mission trip to South Africa! If someone would have asked me last year if I would leave for half a year I would have told them they are crazy, but god works in our lives everyday. Though I am only one person, and can only do so much, I look forward to being able to be a part of something bigger than myself. Every little change we can bring to this world matters, and having your support means so much! Together every little change we make can turn into a miracle. Thank you!

So now I'm leaving in January 2023! I am so stoked to see and experience the different ways that God works in the communities that I will be humbly entering into. I hope to make authentic relationships with the people I meet and be able to share the love of Christ with them. I can't wait to watch how God works in and through me while I'm on this trip!
