My Story
Having a gap period before going to college was not my original plan, but God provided this unexpected blessing of an opportunity, for which I am so grateful. God did not answer my original prayers for the future so that He could instead exceed them with His more perfect will.
I have always been interested in missions, inspired by my grandparents as well as missionary friends and various other influences, including books and even movies, but I have yet to go on a mission trip myself. International missions hold an especially exciting appeal, so I was thrilled to be accepted into EM's Costa Rica trip at the end of December, a wonderful Christmas gift! Engaging with and serving people of a completely different culture and language is something I truly look forward to experiencing.
Of course, these kinds of ventures are impossible without both prayer and financial backing. I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider supporting me. Regardless, I ask that you please pray for me in this process: that I would have courage in preparation and meaningful impact and experience in Costa Rica.
