Adventure, human connection, and being part of a team have always been very important things in my life. Recently, I have found joy in creating new relationships, growing stronger roots in my faith, and being able to immerse myself in new cultures.

There are a few goals I am looking to achieve throughout this mission trip. First and foremost, to challenge and enhance my own faith in Jesus. Secondly, to gain a shift in perspective while learning from those in a different culture. Lastly, to be able to use my abilities to serve those in need and spread love.

In my recent readings, God has been speaking to me to completely lay down my old sinful life and do everything I can to submit my will to do His will. In Matthew 16:24 we read what Jesus said to his disciples as he predicts his death, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.”
This trip is actively helping me to take up my cross, grow in scriptural knowledge, and help enhance the Kingdom of God.

I am hoping to fundraise the rest of this trip as soon as possible to cover my expenses to continue for 8 weeks in Costa Rica. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
