Hello from SoCal! As you may have heard, this spring, I graduated college at the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Anthropology. My three years in Oregon were a great experience where I found an incredible community that helped me understand who God is and who He wants me to be. I've always struggled to know which decisions to make for my future, like which career path I should take, and even which state to live in. With all of these questions and unknowns, the Lord has been so gracious to give me a heart for missions and a deep desire to step away from home to go and serve Him. I discovered the Experience Mission and the IMMERSION program a few months ago and I know that this is what God has for me. I believe that He is going to use it for so much good and for His glory. So, let the countdown begin!

My adventure will begin in January 2024, where I will spend 6 months in Africa. I will be traveling to Namibia, Lesotho, and South Africa, where my team and I will help advance their communities through agricultural projects, serve in the local churches, and volunteer in the schools. Most ministries we will work with are relationally focused, while other opportunities are hands-on projects and during some parts of the trip, we will be staying with host families, truly making this a cross-cultural experience.

I'm so excited for this opportunity to serve the Lord and grow in ways I never imagined, but none of it would be possible without external support. All your prayers and donations are immensely appreciated. Knowing that my family and friends are rooting for me back home will give me encouragement and comfort when life gets challenging in a foreign environment.
