Hey, my name is Josiah. I am from Wadena, Minnesota, but I have lived in a number of different places because my dad was in the military. In each of these places I have gotten to meet a lot of people. As I have looked back on these times and places, I realize how I met the right people at the right time. That God had a plan for me to meet them to bring me back to him or to use them to draw me closer to him. Ever since high school I have felt God calling me to lead other people to Him; that it was the next step God had for me in His plan. This eventually led me to go on a 2025 summer internship with Experience Missions doing Hurricane Relief in North Carolina. I got the opportunity to help serve people who had been overlooked by the relief efforts, to show them that they were seen. I finished this internship a few weeks ago and I am looking forward to serving more people. That is why I am going on a 6-month mission trip into Africa (South Africa, Lesotho, and Namibia), so I can serve people in the same way I was served when God put the right people in my life.
