Hi! My name is Emma Schroder. I'm 20 years old and I'm from a small town in Wyoming. After a year of school at the University of Wyoming, I discovered that, although I loved learning about psychology, it was not my calling. Through a lot of prayer and encouragement I felt lead to drive into the missionary field. Growing up I was super blessed to be apart of a youth group that went on yearly small mission trips, and from that I really grew a passion for spreading the word and helping out wherever I can. At first I was thinking about a 1-3 month trip to stay more in my comfort zone, seeing as I tend to get homesick, until my Youth Pastor really helped me take a leap. He made me realize that I couldn't be in a more perfect position to branch out and take this once in a lifetime opportunity. With no ties to school or any serious relationships, there is no better time than now, so I might as well go all in! With lots of prayer I felt lead to really expand my comfort zone to not 3 months, but 6 months in a completely new environment. This trip not only scares me but excites me to no end, and I am extremely blessed to receive the opportunity. Although I do need some help financially, I ask for whoever reads this to keep me in their prayers. I understand that the cost of this trip is overwhelming, so any thoughts and prayers means so much to me, and above all else, God will provide. Thank you so much! God bless.
