Hi everyone! My name is Hailey Garman. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to serve alongside Experience Mission on their South Africa trip. I will be spending three months in South Africa working along with other Christians to love on and bring Jesus to the locals. Throughout this trip, we will be immersing ourselves completely into the South African culture, living and serving alongside locals who have a vision to reach people in their community. We will get to do life with the people of South Africa, sharing God's love, living minimally, as we serve Jesus daily.

Mission work is something that I have felt God placing on my heart for a while now. At the start of 2022, I really felt that the Lord was telling me to begin pursuing that calling. Shortly after, He opened this door for me to serve in South Africa. I have gone through a few rough patches, but I am grateful for the lows because, through those times, God revealed His calling for my life and has helped me grow in ways I never imagined. I am excited and expectant to begin my journey of furthering the kingdom and reaching the less reached.

A verse that has been laid on my heart recently is Matthew 28:19-20. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember I am with you always, to the very end of the age." I want to share with others what I have found in Christ, I want to teach the less reached about Jesus and I want to make disciples of all nations, just as the Lord has commanded.

While preparing for this trip I have realized just how important prayers, encouragement, and financial support are in order to make missions like these possible. I would love it if you would pray over me and my team as we travel to South Africa in August. I would like to ask you to pray for God's protection and guidance throughout the duration of this trip, as well as for me to have the confidence to be the hands and feet of Jesus while I am away.
