Hello! My name is Maggie Voss, and I'm a Senior in high school this year.

I enjoy being active in my community, participating in Augusta Eagles Sports, Beta Club, Augusta Youth Chorale, and American Heritage Girls Troop GA1917, a ministry at St. Teresa's.

As the year progressed, I faced the inevitable question of where God was calling me after graduation. Growing up homeschooled, my parents had taught me how to serve others right along with my other subjects, and I knew I wanted to serve, but where? After I completed the NET Ministries Discernment process and they told me no for now, I felt lost on where to go. So, I prayed about it and did some research and found Experience Mission. I decided to apply and see if mission work was truly where I was meant to go.

After receiving my acceptance, I felt immense joy but also a good bit of anxiety. I've never been out of the country or away from home for so long, raised this much money, or had to make a completely new set of friends in a new culture. But, I know that with God's goodness and providence and prayers and donations from people like you, all things are possible.

Through this mission, I will be able to forge solid relationships with my team, bless others, take steps in discerning my vocation, and learn to see God in everyone, everywhere.
