Hey y'all!

So a little bit about me. Growing up I was placed in a private Christian school called Whitefield Academy right outside of Atlanta, Georgia. With going there, I had always had some sort of faith but it never seemed like my own. Throughout my middle and high school years I was confused. Confused about what a real faith looked like and was wondering why I was going through so many difficulties in my family when there was supposedly a God who loved me and wanted the best for me. Time went on and I had been involved in Young Life, so I would continue to go on these trips and have a little spark with Jesus for the weekend but then it would never stick for more than a few days. Fast forward to the "covid year". I was a sophomore in high school when the world shut down so I went fully online for the second semester and then for the entirety of my junior year, and this was just about the best thing that could have happened to me.

During this time I had a lot of time to myself and I had a new friendship in the works with a girl named Adeline. She told me about a newly found church called Elevate City Church, and that I should come check it out so that's what I did. Then who would have thought that a few months later on February 7, 2021, that I would get baptized in the hotel pool that the church was held in.

Now let's jump to this year in July 2023. I joined a travel group that consisted of 18 people for 17 days in 5 different countries in Central America. I was stoked because I had this impression of the trip being based around hiking. Well, I was wrong. It seemed as if I had joined a team of people who had the goal of who could get the most intoxicated, and wow did I feel left out. I was angry, I felt alone, and I told myself that I was going to stay as far away from group travel as possible, but God had another plan. In Ometepe, a small Island in Nicaragua, God told me that I was made for more, and that this was just the start of something HUGE. He brought me this idea of doing mission work and the second I got home, August 12th, I had my heart open for finding a mission trip. I also have a goal of going to every country in the world but I wanted it to be for something more rather than my own self worth. So that is how God led me here, to Experience Mission, to do the Lord's work for those all throughout Africa :)
