My Story
I truly cannot even believe I have the opportunity to be writing this and raising support for such a dream come true. Ever since middle school, God has put international missions on my heart, and for a long time, I pictured that unfolding as a gap year between highschool and college.
But! God's plans are greater and His timeline is perfect, so after surrendering my own plans to Him, I've been called to GO! To trust and not hesitate! So, I will be graduating early to head over to South Africa for 3 months during what would be my senior year of highschool, then returning and getting to begin college at the same time as my peers! I'm in awe of the Lord's faithfulness and intentionality throughout this whole process, and I could not be more excited for what's to come in travelling to spread the love of Christ.
I can't wait to build relationships, lead others to Jesus, and learn a whole new perspective immersed in a country outside of my typical bubble.
God doesn't lead where He doesn't provide, and I am extremely grateful for all of the supporters who have encouraged me and will continue to push me throughout this adventure. It would mean the world if you could donate and help fund my mission financially, but more than anything I ask for you to keep me and my team in your prayers - that we may stay safe, healthy, and be welcomed into the communities we will get to work with and impact.

Hi everyone!!
I just wanted to pop in and give a quick update on how fundraising is going/additional things.
I am so grateful for all of the love and support that has been pouring in, from prayers, kind words of encouragement, and other reassuring messages. I couldn't be doing this without you guys and am so thankful for the love every step of the way on this crazy journey. I am currently about 11 weeks out from my trip (I don't know how that's possible!)
Thus far we've already raised 42% of my required funding! I am in awe of all of the contributions and generosity so many of you have shown in giving. With less than 3 months until I leave, I have some intimidating approaching deadlines for fundraising milestones, but I am confident that with the continued help from all of you, those will be satisfied in no time. The generosity you have shown me is nothing short of a reflection of the way God loves each of us - not just meeting our needs, but exceeding and overflowing in gracious abundance.
Being swamped by college applications, I have yet to send out official thank you's to each of you, but I want you to know that I do see every donation, every kind message, and every affirmation. They are deeply appreciated and I am working on contacting everyone individually, but for right now, thank you for bearing with me in this overwhelming season of change - applying to colleges, juggling coursework, graduating early, and getting ready to leave home for Africa.
Thank you for encouraging me while I'm still processing and helping me reach my goals through both financial and emotional support.
