My Story
A little about me- I've always grown up in the church and learned the importance of serving. Kids have such a special place in my heart and I serve with them every week! I remember as a little kid always seeing and hearing stories from missionaries and looking up to them, admiring the work that God was doing in and through them. God has placed missions on my heart for a while now and I can't wait to make so many memories and to see how God can and WILL shine His light through His children!
When I found EM I knew it was exactly where I was called to be, the timing and length of the trip was exactly what I was looking for and the heart behind living our mission is so encouraging and powerful. On this exciting trip to Latin America I get to live the local way with my team and stay with host families, learn and practice Spanish, and attend incredible church services every Sunday. Things we have the utmost privilege of doing consist of volunteer work in churches or schools, running VBS camps, working on farms, digging septic tanks, and so so much more. The Lord has blessed me with this opportunity and He's gonna work in amazing ways during these 6 months.
