Hello! My name is Breanna Collins, but most people call me Bre! I am from Highland Heights, Kentucky, but a sophomore at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky! I am a social work and Christian Ministries double major, and honestly, I do not have a plan for either of those degrees. Still, wherever the Lord leads me, I will follow. Including this trip! I am super excited for this new opportunity! Since becoming a follower of Jesus, missions have always been on my heart. Still, I only understood what this meant once I went to college! Since going to school, God has provided me with many new opportunities, including a trip to the Dominican Republic in 2023 for 8 days. This was my first trip out of the United States and to be submerged in a new culture, and I loved every second of it! During this trip, I decided I was ready to take the next step with a summer devoted to missions in another country! In addition, Cumberlands has over 50 different countries represented on our campus, and I have fallen in love with sharing the gospel through learning about new cultures, countries, and people! I am super excited for the Lord to continue to grow me and shape me to look more like Him during this next season of my life! Praise God for all He is doing and what He will continue to do!
