Hello friends,
I am currently a senior at Oglethorpe County High School, and I will be graduating in the upcoming spring. It’s crazy that I am almost done with school! I am very nervous about my future but I know that God is in control and he has a unique plan for me. As I have been getting closer to my last few months of high school, I have been trying to seek my purpose and begin the journey that God has planned for me. I’ve enjoyed going to school and i would love to go straight to college in the fall but many months ago, i started feeling that God wanted something bigger for me as well as serve in a more intentional way. I have accepted a spot on the Experience Immersion Missions Team and will travel to Costa Rica for a 3-month mission trip in August!
This trip will begin in Indiana for a few days of training. We will then travel to Costa Rica for a spanish class for 3 weeks. After the 3 weeks of class, I will be placed in a host home with a family. In my host home, I hope to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the best of my ability as I attempt to serve and live in the Costa Rician culture.
You may ask how you can help, that is a great question! Going on a mission trip like this would not be possible without extreme support. I desire to have a great network of people to support me through prayer as well as donations. I have created a fundraiser to get as many people involved as possible. Knowing that you guys are and will support me from afar will encourage me through the many challenges that i will face. I would love for you to join my support system!
