I'd like to invite you to join me on an exciting adventure in the coming months. I've always had a passion for travel and seeing how different people live. So, as I considered my options for what to do next in life, I was intrigued by the option of a gap year program. I will be graduating in May with my High School diploma as well as an AA degree with a concentration in Deaf Studies. I have been exploring the idea of a gap year for a while and in doing research I found Experience Mission. It is a great fit and now is a great time to go. After much research, thought, and prayer, I applied to Experience Missions' IMMERSION gap year program. I was accepted as one of the team members and will be serving in Costa Rica, South Africa, Namibia, and Lesotho. While I have not yet received my exact work assignments and partnerships, I know that I will be serving in mission work experiences where I will serve others, grow in my faith, and explore new communities. I will be working alongside long-term local ministries and pastors and experience life with the locals while building meaningful relationships and sharing the love of God.
