Hi! My name is Christina Liu and I'm currently a freshman in college at ASU. I've always had a heart for missions and this summer, I have been blessed with the wonderful opportunity to serve God and His people in Papua, Indonesia!

This mission trip will take place between May 19 - June 19, and we are doing a variety of work there! We're going to be helping youth practice English, participating in a dog breeding program that supports an orphanage, supporting pop-up dental clinics, doing agricultural work such as assisting greenhouses and poultry, aiding local school libraries, and organizing donations for the village. We will also be collaborating with local organizations to run workshops and special events and fly on a bush plane to assist in deliveries to a remote tribal village. Most importantly, we will be sharing the gospel to the locals there.

In preparation for this trip, our team will be trained in the states for a few days before we go to serve and live alongside the people of Papua in their vibrant culture. My goal is to be the salt and light and spread God's love to everyone I encounter. I believe He has put it on my heart to go and bless others around the world to come to know Him. I cannot wait to see how God will work through me!
