After I graduated high school 2 years ago I went on a solo trip to the UK and Ireland for 6 weeks. At the end of the 6 weeks I found myself in Galway. While I was there I went to this beautiful church. It was in the last couple days of my trip and was freaking out about what I was going to do next. As I sat in the church all the fears and pain of everything that was going on in my life came crashing down, I cried and prayed to the Lord asking for help, for guidance, for peace. He meet me in that moment with his peace and joy. When I got home I still didn't know what I was doing but I started to pursue a relationship with hime more than I ever had. In these past couple years I have grown closer to God more than I ever have been. He has shown up for me in so many different ways and I've been learning to trust him through this unmarked path that I find myself on. Throughout this time Iv'e been praying that he would me guide down the path he wants me to walk and that whatever door he opens I'll walk through it. I believe that this missions trip is the next big step he wants me to take, and I'm more than happy to follow him through this open door.
