Friends and family,

I have always had a passion to shine Christ's love and joy and to be His hands and feet to His children. To love others, especially children has been a calling placed on my heart for as long as I can remember, and it continues to guide the way I live and serve today.

Growing up in a foster family has shaped this calling in a very powerful way. At a very young age, I was taught how to love, protect, and care for children, day in and out showing them the same unconditional love Christ shows me. Those early experiences grew my heart for service and taught me lifelong lessons about compassion, sacrifice, and faith.

This summer, I have been incredibly blessed with the opportunity to live out that calling by serving for a month on a mission trip to Uganda. While living there, I will serve at a local orphanage, helping to care for the children and assisting with the animals and plants on the orphange grounds.

This mission trip is through Experience Mission, an organization whose mission is to show the love of Christ through our everyday actions and relationships. I know this experience will stretch me, help me grow, and teach me far more than I could ever expect.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to step out in faith and serve all the people I may meet. Any support whether through financial giving or through prayer does not go unnoticed and means more to me than I can say. Thank you for walking alongside me in this journey.
