My Story
In the past couple of months, in which I have spent my time waitressing and kind of just trying to figure out what Jesus has for me, I have experienced a lot of spiritual growth. I prayed to Jesus for awhile to just lead me. To show me where He wants me. To lead and that I would follow.
When He put missions on my heart, I wasn't so sure at first. you see, I have a lot of work to do. I am not perfect by any means. Yet He whispered to me in my times of self-doubt "Child, go. You may not be perfect, but you were perfectly and wonderfully made."
With this being said, I have accepted a position on a team that heads to Mozambique, Africa, for a month from May 20-June 20, with a group of young people about the same age as me.
It won't be easy to get there. I have a ton of fundraising to do (I have to raise $5200 within the next 68 days to be exact). But I serve a faithful God and I know that He will provide.
"Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14: 13-14)
This is where I need your help! every dollar counts! I have a couple of ideas that I will be posting soon to aide in my fundraising efforts, but in the meantime, if you feel led in your heart to help me reach my goal, I would be so grateful and humbled.
Most importantly, I ask for your prayers as I embark on a journey alongside Him in the next couple of months. It may not be easy. It will definitely be uncomfortable and hard at times. Yet I have never felt more content with where I am or more confident in His will.
Let it be all for His glory!!!! HE is so good.

update on my fundraising :: I need to raise $2,483 in the next month. yes big feat, but I’ve got a bigger God!!
not gonna lie, I stress every day about getting the funds I need for this trip. but last night I was reading my devotions and stumbled upon these words from Lysa terkeurst (my fav) in some words she has about following Jesus :
“Do you feel a tug at your heart to live completely with God, but you are still uncertain about pursuing it? Why not ask God to reveal Himself to you in the coming days and confirm exactly what He has for you? The adventure that follows might blow you away.
Will it be inconvenient? Maybe.
Will it cost you in ways that stretch you? Sometimes.
Does it force you to live life with a less self-centered outlook? Yes.
Does living to follow Jesus at every turn bring joy that you can’t get any other way? Absolutely.”
Yes I am stretched. Maybe the timing is inconvenient. But I am relentlessly chasing after God in a way that I have never done before. Chasing for the Joy I know that only a life living for Him will provide.
I need YOUR help!!! to pursue this calling I have wedged so deeply in my heart.
I am not going to lie and say it’s comfortable asking for your help. But Jesus reminds me every day that nothing about following Him will be comfortable. And I’m completely okay with that 🙌🏼🙌🏼
