My Story
For so long I feel this has been the cry of my heart: to know my Lord on an intimate level. I crave an identity centralized around being His daughter. I yearn for my Father to show me the world through His lens and to mold me into a disciple that can make a difference utterly disproportionate to who I am. To achieve this, I must answer God's calling to walk on the waters. To step outside of my comfort zone and into a foreign environment. It is my hope that this trip to Namibia will cause a dependence on my Lord that I have yet to experience. It is my hope that this trip will expose me to walks of life contrary to my own so that I can engage with what God's kingdom looks like on a global level. It is my hope that this trip will cause me to grow in gratitude, sacrifice, and most importantly- love.
My life's mission is to glorify my King through responding to His Great Commission- whether that be at home or abroad. I am confident that by taking this trip at such a transitional point in my life I can develop habits that will enable me to share the love of Christ in my everyday encounters. My faith has provided me a life of abundance that I want to share with others so that they may experience the same fulfillment.
