My Story
Hey family and friends!
I am so excited to share that I will be serving in Africa from January - June 2020, shortly after I graduate from the University of Colorado in December 2019. After ministering to the people in Southeast Asia last summer, I found that serving for a longer term is something I am extremely passionate about and called to do.
At the beginning of January 2020, I will be sent to South Africa, Namibia, and Lesotho (about 2 months in each location) where I will be staying with host families in each country and serving the community I'll be living in. The way I will be ministering to the people in Africa will be through investing in relationships with them. There may be opportunities for hands-on work projects such as painting schools, leading VBS, tutoring at local schools, digging outhouses, or helping with agricultural projects.
After my return from Africa, I plan to go to graduate school to pursue my goal of becoming a Speech Pathologist. First, though, I have felt the call to serve overseas before jumping into a career and continuing education. I want to see more of God's creation and serve His people.
I am excited for this season in my life, and to see the ways in which the Lord provides. Please prayerfully consider contributing toward my trip to Africa financially & spiritually. All donations are tax deductible!!
