My name is Kennedi Stock and I am so excited to go on this month-long mission trip to Cuba!

This year for me has come with a lot of challenges, but through it I have seen God's goodness and provision so well. As I have continued to learn more about the Holy Spirit and what God is calling me to, it has led me to this mission trip. Earlier in the year, I began to feel a call to something but I was unsure of what it was. A few months after that, I landed 19th on the college program I have been working towards that only accepts 18 students. I was not discouraged though because I knew that what God was calling me to wouldn't have been possible if I had been accepted.

I spent time in prayer about it, and God introduced me to one of my now best friends, who had gone on a 9 month mission trip. Within ten minutes of talking to her, she said to me "you are the first person I have met that I feel you should go." This felt like such an answered prayer and despite any of my fears, I decided to be obedient.

I am so excited to be able to spread the Lord's love in a practical way by serving the people He loves. I can see the way that God has placed so many people in my life who have served me, and I feel blessed that I have this opportunity to serve others. My prayer is that this trip will deepen my relationship with the Lord and enable me to act as His hands and feet in a meaningful way.
