July of 2021 was the biggest shift that I've ever had in life. I walked away from what was to be a guaranteed career path working with children and families, because it didn't allow me to serve others in multiple capacities.
I separated from my spouse because it was no longer a healthy relationship, and my finances suffered from both decisions. Everything I had faith in was gone.

I learned what true faith is through the process of rebuilding.
Rebuilding who I am, rebuilding my values and rebuilding my goals.

Now that I am in a state of rebuilding, I see the ways in which I can serve others. With all the uncertainties I have faced, something that has always felt right and certain to me is helping people. I have always wanted to do a mission trip, but things never aligned.
In this season, God has put me in the right place and the right time to give back some of the love God has given me.
I will better learn the Spanish language so that more people can feel understood in their own language.
I can share my faith and share my passion with others.
I have what I need internally to make this mission trip to Cuba a success.
I just need a little help physically getting there.
