In an ever-changing world, we want to love God and love our neighbors. We believe God is at work in all people and cultures. We desire to be creative connectors across diverse and historical divides, participating in God's work of reconciliation, justice, affirmation, and hope. Learn More
We believe everyone desires to participate in change, growth, and renewal in this world, experiencing God’s shalom that brings wholeness, reconciliation, and justice. But, ultimately, these things will not be the product of what we do but rather how we do it. Learn More
At EM, we believe the Gospel message centers on the person of Jesus—what He's done for us and wants to do in and through us. We believe that this message is best shared through STORY, in the context of RELATIONSHIP, within a PARTNERSHIP with the larger body of Christ. Learn More
Each EM team is provided with a devotional journal to help guide your service experience. These may be passed out when you arrive or received in the mail prior to your trip. Click to preview this year's devotional
EM also provides space each day for your team to learn and grow through helpful daily challenges for your team and debriefing at the end of the day together. This time is led by EM Field Staff in most domestic communities. For international communities (as well as South Texas and Chicago), team leaders are encouraged to use EM materials to lead their teams through devotional times and debrief.
