The Story
Jamaica Needs Our Support!
On October 28, the island of Jamaica was devastated by Hurricane Melissa, a category 5 hurricane bigger than Hurricane Katrina and the 3rd strongest ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean.
Experience Mission's longtime ministry partners at Christian Fellowship Church in Catadupa, Jamaica have already communicated the massive nature of the damage to their community and those around them, with nearly every home and building broken, damaged, and in need of repair.
As the immediate relief work to help people find basic needs begins, it is our great desire to mobilize relief mission trip groups to help with the rebuilding and recovery process that will take many months.
We're also hoping to collect relief funds to help with immediate needs in the communities we're connected to in rural Jamaica. All funds given will go directly to the community to help with needs now or during the rebuilding and recovery process!
Whether you're a church group or simply an individual who wants to make a difference, every dollar helps our Jamaican neighbors start to rebuild their lives after this horrific storm.
