Through this journey, I have tended to keep God within my own limitations. If I can’t do something, God can’t do it either. If I can’t fix it, God can’t fix it either. Yet every time, God continues to prove to me He has no limits.

Somehow it took traveling all around the Caribbean to get me to understand God's plan for me.

Three current male team members share the things their trip has allowed them to do outside of the traditional view of mission trips and why more guys should pursue joining an IMMERSION program.

We all jumped into the trip with a blind YES, trusting that God would make good on his plans for us...and guess what? He did.

These experiences should change us and transform us. We shouldn't forget God is working in every nation and in every neighborhood. He works just as much here, where I am now, as He does in the middle of Haiti.

What we did on IMMERSION will not be forgotten; the people we met, the relationships we formed are real. We were a tiny part of such a bigger thing that is happening in these communities.

Simply receiving another person and offering a quiet space to sort out their brokenness is perhaps the greatest tool we have for evangelism, but we often look past it because it can’t be captured in four steps and mass distributed to hurting people.

Pretty much the only predictable thing about life here is that we will constantly be learning or doing something new and laughing. Lots of laughing.
