Tegucigalpa , Honduras Central America Honduras Mission Trips – Tegucigalpa, Honduras' largest and most poulous city is located in the southern-central highland region. The Salvation Army works in neighborhoods surrounding the capital city where they implement permanent community outreach programs. One of their main outreach activits is at "The School Hospital" in Tegucigalpa. The programs at “the School Hospital” consist of serving in hospital classrooms where kids are going through health issues and therefore can't go to school. During your trip, you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside the Salvation Army to help empower them with the resources they need. You will be a part of bringing hope in the midst of difficult circumstances. We are sure that you will be touched by the warmth and hospitality of the people of Honduras.
