Hello! I really don’t know how you got here but that doesn’t matter. You’re here now! Before you do anything, here's a little about me.

Growing up I lived in a Christian household, My parents got divorced when I was young and I had to make the decision to live between my mom or dad.
As a 4 year old, I didn’t know any better so I chose my dad, and I’m glad that I did because he has been there for me through everything.
Last year was a big step for me when I decided that I wanted to officially get baptized. I had recently found a new church, called Willow Creek North Shore, and new people. It felt like a fresh start.
Ever since then I have been at the peak of my spiritual high. I have served in Guatemala, Costa Rica, was a camp counselor at a Christian camp this past summer, and attended all the high school retreats with my church.

I will never forget the time when I was at blast (a winter retreat) and the pastor said “ if you have recently found God please stand". I knew in my heart that was a sign that I should stand and a sign that God was speaking to me.

Just like how God has given me all the signs to go on this gap year program. I am going to Costa Rica for 3 months starting in August with a team the ages of 18-30. In the first 3 weeks we will be learning as much Spanish as we can and the rest of the time we will be building relationships with families and people around the area. I will be back home in Chicago to celebrate Christmas with my family. Then in January, I will leave for South Africa for 6 months. I can not express the excitement I feel for this experience, and I can’t wait to share more with all of you!
