Like so many others, I fell in love with mission work while on a short term mission trip with my church to Belize. I felt the call to do more. This is why I have decided to go to Namibia and spend three months loving the children and hopefully making a bigger impact and forming a deeper bond. It seems that we do everything in a pattern now: highshool, college, get married, have kids. Don't get me wrong, I want all of that just as much as the next person. But I felt that there was more out there for me. I have to power to make different choices and change things that I don't like. It's not too late to change my story, get out of my comfort zone, and experience something that may seem a little scary.
