My Story
This spring/summer I have the incredible opportunity to fully immerse myself in the local life of the indigenous Bri Bri community located in Shiroles, Costa Rica. While there, I will be serving in the classroom, working on plantain farms, and helping to grow a small business—6 hours into the jungle. While I hope to enhance my Spanish, I specifically hoped to travel to this location to reconnect with so many children and adults that I met on a short term service trip to the same location nearly three years ago!
