My Story
College is my main priority: finishing school and being able to grow as an adult towards my future.
However, I want to take a step back and give back. My want is to share my heart, and serve God by giving back. It is not everyday that I am able to take a breath and realize how thankful I truly am for what I am able to do. With privilege and honor, I want to be able to serve under God's eye in all the right ways.
During my 1-month Africa mission trip to Namibia, I'll be able to experience life among several cultures. After completing the EM Africa training, I’ll have a clearer understanding of the challenges of serving in a different culture. I want to become a part of ministry in local schools, working with kids in the classroom and after school.
I will join alongside local pastors and missionaries who have a vision to reach this community, spending time with children and youth who are eager to learn. I look forward to experiencing the real challenges of mission work, community development, and giving back.

Being able to serve allows me to put others before me, while I know God watches over me.

10 weeks left!
It is crazy to me that I used to could down the days from a year and a half ago... and now i'm down to the weeks! Emotions are at an all-time high and I keep receiving the most uplifting support from so many around! A college friend of mine recently reached out and shared her time in Namibia Africa with me, she endured a 4 month long trip by herself and said "you'll cry twice; when you first show up, and when you leave." Being mentally and physically pushed is only the beginning of this whole experience, and I cannot wait to be there.
