My Story

My name is Lindsay Washington! I am from Hoquiam, WA and I live in Monroe, LA where I attend the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I will be graduating with a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Management.

In 2016, I spent a month in Nepal with my college ministry building a dorm for students that have to hike 4 hours to and from school. These students are some of the poorest in Nepal and are definitely in need of support.

In 2018, I went with my college ministry back to Nepal for 3 weeks to build a school. The village had lost their school in the 2015 earthquakes and had been using a temporary building since. While we were there we were able to teach both English and Math to these students.

I believe it is our duty as Christians to go out into the world and help our brothers and sisters. I love going on missions and reaching out to people to show them how amazing our God is and how much He loves them. After graduating I hope to work in campus ministry and lead mission trips around the world.
