About the Student
Chris is the oldest of 5 children and her younger sister Mipha is also in the program. Both of her parents lack formal employment yet they do the best they can, working odd jobs when they can to put food on the table. As much as they want to see all of their kids in school, the money generally isn’t enough, so they are living by faith, hoping God will open a door when needed. Chris has been in and out of school because her tuition isn’t being paid on time, but when she is in school she does very well. She is a straight A student who hopes to become either a nurse or a musician one day.
