About the Student

Thessica lost her Dad four years ago, and she currently lives with her mother who is ill. As you can imagine, this has left her in a difficult place financially and right now she is not in school because of a lack of funds. Her dream is to one day graduate high school and continue onto business school, and this scholarship will get her one step closer to this goal. Even though she has many struggles of her own, Thessica has a heart to serve others, and her future plans are not only to start a successful business for herself but to help others to do the same.

Why Education Matters

Education empowers. EM's Education Scholarships help provide necessary education and mentorship for teenagers and young adults who need a "hand up" towards a better life that presents opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.
