About the Student
Caroline is an excellent student who is very intelligent and loves school, but her parents are struggling to pay for her tuition and expenses. Both of her parents work hard. Her mother works at a beauty salon and her stepfather works at a car wash, but these jobs bring in an extremely small income. After basic expenses such as food, lodging, clothing and transportation there's not much left over. This scholarship will enable Caroline to continue her education and complete her junior year of high school. Ultimately Caroline's goal is to become a nurse.
