About the Student
Wood Mailler’s father left when he was only 3 years old so his strong, hard working mother has been left on her own to take care of him and his siblings since that time. Currently she is working at a local church as a cook, but the money she makes is not enough. Life has been very hard for their family, so Wood Mailler has been forced to drop out of school multiple times for a lack of finances and that is why he is only a sophomore at the age of 17. However, Wood Mailler hasn’t let these challenges stop him from dreaming big. His dream is to become a medical doctor one day, and he hopes to open his own clinic to serve people in his community. Your donation will help him to get one step closer to achieving his goals.
