About the Student
Mikail is a motivated, passionate young man who hopes to one day be a lawyer or a teacher. His mother, who raised him and his 3 siblings alone, has always struggled to provide for all of their basic needs let alone their education, but it is especially difficult now since she is ill. This scholarship will be a great blessing for him and his family. Mikail writes, "I believe that everyone can obtain their fullest potential if they remain determined and inspired. I am inspired by the statement 'reaching to the stars through excellence and temptation.' I would love to be awarded this scholarship as it would create the path necessary for my career's growth or development. Furthermore, it would be less pressuring on my mother, who is quite ill and is currently unable to work. I believe that this will drastically help me to pursue my further education studies and moreover my desired profession as I aim to make a difference in my community, my parish (state) and eventually my country."
