About the Student
When Paul was just 13 years old, both of his parents died of HIV/AIDS. He then went to live with his aunt along with his younger brother and sister. His aunt has children of her own, and is aging, unemployed, and unable to pay for Paul's education. Without some help, he has no way to find a good job to pay for school on his own, and even if he did, he would not have time to attend classes. That's why Paul needs a hand up. He truly believes that education is one of the keys to future success in life, so he applied for this scholarship with the hope that he will someday be able to return to his studies.
